Silencers

Operational noises from fireplaces are emitted via the flue pipe and the chimney to the environment where they are often perceived as disturbing. With the installation of an exhaust silencer, the noise pollution can be considerably reduced. Absorption silencers reduce the high and medium sound frequencies through the use of sound-absorbing mineral wool. Combined silencers are absorption silencers with additional resonance chambers which enables to also damp low-frequency sound. Exhaust silencers are usually installed in the connection line but can also be retrofitted (hanged) from the chimney top.
