Flexible exhaust system

Flex pipes are used for relining in existing chimneys in a house. They can be made of stainless steel or polypropylene (PP). Stainless steel flex pipes are made of very thin-walled materials. Depending on the design, one or two layers of stainless steel are wound into a roll in one machine. Single layered flexible pipes have a wall thickness of 0.08 mm and double layered have 0.16 mm. They are temperature resistant up to 600 ° C exhaust gas temperature and pressure tight up to 200 Pascal.

These systems are approved for oil, gas and solid fuels.

PP flex pipes have a wall thickness of 1.0 (up to Ø 80 mm) and 1.2 mm (from Ø 100 mm). They are temperature resistant up to 120 ° C exhaust gas temperature and pressure tight up to 5000 Pascal. These systems are approved for oil and gas.
