In order to protect the chimney head with chimney hoods or chimney cover plate, chimney cladding panels should be installed around the brick chimney. They have similar protective properties as cover plates or hoods, however this applies to the sides of the brickwork and extends the life immensely. Design variants like copper, aluminium and stainless steel provide creative freedom.
