Exhaust gas

Exhaust gases are produced during the conversion process of fossil fuels (oil, gas, coal), wood and biomass. These consist mainly of soot, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide as well as particulate matter. Depending on the fireplace, suitable measures to reduce particulate matter must be taken.

The exhaust gas is discharged either by the natural chimney draft in case of negative pressure or by blower supports in case of over pressure.

The exhaust system used for this purpose must be adapted to the respective operating mode.
