Wall thickness

The term wall thickness defines the thickness of the material used. Typical wall thicknesses for stainless steel ranges between 0.5 mm - 1.0 mm. Polypropylene exhaust pipes have a wall thickness of 2.0 mm. The wall thickness varies depending on the system, exhaust temperature and country regulations. In most cases one can also order for wall thickness other than the standard wall thickness.
